My brief to Liz :  A new image for work.

I'm a senior manager for a large IT company. Working within web marketing I know how powerful an image can be when it comes to selling our products and now, thanks to Liz, I'm learning how to apply those same principles to myself. It's amazing how changing how you look changes how you feel about yourself, and when you feel good you walk tall & exude confidence.

As a single Mum with a bouncy four year old & a demanding full-time job there's not a lot of spare time in the day - getting ready for work consisted of clean teeth & a clean pair of knickers! But it is worth getting up 10-15 minute earlier to spend time just for you... make-up, hair, clothes, shoes, accessories - Make it all come together as a package - Cos as they say 'you're worth it!'

My day with Liz was great fun. Having someone look after you and giving you their total attention makes you feel really special; fetching clothes back and forth to the dressing room; adjusting a blouse & positioning a belt; finding quality at a price to fit my budget; I know I was Liz's number one priority. It beats chocolate or getting your hair done! The image Liz created for me was professional, feminine, and a little sexy. She manages to get just the right balance. It's a little like preparing a gourmet meal, she manages to combine just the right amount of sauce and spice to make it perfect. Liz even managed to negotiate a 15% discount for me at one of the stores!

The impact of the image change was immediate - I went to a seminar the following Saturday wearing a fitted black tunic dress and striped blouse with a little bling at my ears & throat - Four women came up to me & said 'you look amazing, where did you get your clothes'. At lunch I choose a table by myself  & two lovely gentlemen came and sat with me - one bought me wine & invited me out for a drink. Later the second told me I looked stunning. Well what can I say - what an ego boost.

At work I noticed heads turning & several of my work colleagues have commented that I look fantastic since the make-over, and you know all the comments have a very positive impact on how you feel about yourself and what you're able to achieve. It gives me confidence when I'm presenting my ideas to a room full of people, but most importantly it makes me feel good about myself.
